And yet the images I'm generating using AI are not reproductions. Hours ago I tried to find the source of one of my images and it was one of my sketches. It had gone through so many iterations and variations that I had forgotten where I started: my own hand. I love that journey. I have little interest in making art the way I did in 1990 or 2010.

I've already started remixing and compositing (layering) output and drawing on top of the images, so this does mean that I own the work. It's a continuation of what I did using Photoshop in the early 1990s.
