In this case, it literally was a "Black thing". I added one word: Black. I'm not about to list the many examples of technological engagements by Black & brown people because I wrote an entire book about it in 2021 titled, "Techno-Vernacular Creativity & Innovation," with The MIT Press. Midjourney is not just a program, it's a generator that sources a large language model. Many other AI-generators source the same LLM.
